Looking for a simple way to support our troops? How about tying on a yellow ribbon? Several Tulsa radio stations spent Thursday morning giving out ribbons.

KRMG camped out at La Fortune Park, handing out ribbons to a steady stream of cars. While KOOL 106 spent Thursday morning at 41st and Yale, tying the ribbons on car antennas. Both stations say the turnout was terrific. Andy O with KOOL 106, "They see what's happening overseas and they want to do something. Tied yellow ribbons on antennas and now they're driving around town hoping our men and women get home soon and safely."

No word on whether either station plans to hand out yellow ribbons again any time soon.
