With US soldiers scattered around the world during this time of turmoil, one Oklahoman is showing he is a proud American.

Michael Gray of Edmond, bought this Ford Mustang emblazoned with the stars and stripes a few years ago. But, these days he doesn't just drive it to show his patriotism. He's also supporting his brother-in-law who's currently serving in the Middle East with the Air National Guard.

Gray admits the '82 Mustang may not be show-room quality, but he's proud of his slice of Americana and the message it sends. "You think about the history mustangs been around forever have a car painted like a flag, Mustang, can't have anything better than that. Shows people what you can do, not much, just something."

Gray says each time he drives it he gets plenty of attention with other drivers honking and waving.
