(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Altus and Vance Air Force bases are expected to lose some positions as a result of some shuffling by the Air Force.
The base in Altus expects to lose about 50 positions, with half of those to active duty.
Vance Air Force Base expects to lose eleven positions _ one officer, three enlisted and seven civilian slots.
The losses are among 14-hundred-20 positions being trimmed from the Air Education and Training Command, which is responsible for all phases and levels of Air Force training.
The Air Force is taking steps to adjust its manpower to the funding that'll be available in the next fiscal year.
