A local college showed its support for military men and women serving overseas.
Thursday, Tulsa's Community Care College at 5810 East Skelly Drive, celebrated "Operation Freedom." The students blew bubbles, waived patriotic flags and signed a banner that will be sent to the troops.
It's their way of saying thanks. Dr Kevin Kirk, Community Care College President “I’ve had alot of our students, I take for granted, until I look at some of the things going on in the world, overseas and the problems facing many countries under attack."
Thursday's festivities included students, staff and faculty at the school. Community Care College is a Tulsa-based healthcare college.
