IRVING, Texas (AP) _ Free-agent cornerback Donald Mitchell signed a three-year deal worth about $2.6 million, including a $675,000 bonus, with the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday.

Mitchell played the past four seasons with the Tennessee Titans, spending most of his time as a nickelback and special teams player.

``I like it here, and I think this could be a good place for me,'' Mitchell told the Cowboys' Web site.
