Governor Henry set a special election to fill the District 7 state senate seat.

Gene Stipe gave the seat up last week.

The election is set for June 10th, and the filing period will be March 31 through April 2.

District 7 includes all of Pittsburg, Latimer and Haskell counties and a portion of Sequoyah County.
