Oklahoma lawmakers are debating a bill that would require driver's license applicants to have their fingerprints digitally scanned.
A state House committee approved the measure today.
It now goes to the full House for consideration.
Those opposed to the bill say it would force Oklahomans to submit to fingerprinting.
Supporters say the bill would stop identity theft.
