The Oklahoma House has passed a proposal to ask voters to increase taxes on gas and diesel.
If approved by voters, the tax on gasoline would rise 5 cents a gallon. The diesel tax would go up 7 cents. The money would be used to repair state roads and bridges.
The bill is now on it's way to the Senate.
