29 Sand Springs kids have new bikes thanks to the Salvation Army Boys and Girls Club.

Over the last three months, each participant has earned three credits in education and community service projects, and a credit in recreation and citizenship activities.

Salvation Army Captain Mark Craddock, “different programs that help them learn how to be active members of our community and once they earn enough points, they go through a bicycle safety course, and they earn their bicycle."

Each child also got a helmet, a lock, and a bicycle safety packet.

The program was developed and partially funded by the American Express field Vice-President, along with several other groups.
