A wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit was filed Monday against Grand Lake's popular Cherokee Queen cruise boat.

The suit, filed in Delaware County District Court, claims that one of the boat's patrons was served alcoholic beverages even though he was clearly intoxicated. That man then got in his truck and crashed into a van, killing a Grove woman.

It could be a year before the case is heard in court.
