(Lake Charles, Louisiana-AP) -- Georgia used a late rally to beat Oral Roberts in the McNeese State Lake Area Classic in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

The Golden Eagles led 6-to-3 in the bottom of the eighth inning Sunday before Dallas Martin allowed back-to-back singles and Georgia's Lee Mitchell doubled to cut ORU's advantage to 6-to-5.

Jon Armitage hit a ground ball, but third baseman Scott Modeste couldn't handle it. Mitchell scored the tying run, then Justin Holmes hit an RBI double to move the Bulldogs to 7-6.

The Golden Eagles return to action Thursday night with a game against San Diego State in California.
