What Tulsa Police thought was a standoff disrupted traffic near downtown for hours Saturday evening.

Officers responded to a disturbance call at the Denver Park Apartments around 5:30. When they got there, they thought they heard gunshots. They blocked off traffic between Denver and Riverside and 17th street and 19th street while they surrounded the apartment.

After about three hours the man inside came out. He was arrested on a drunken disturbance complaint. Officers were not able to search the apartment for a weapon.
