NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) _ Johnny PayCheck, best known for his 1977 working man's anthem ``Take This Job and Shove It,'' died in his sleep following a long illness, a Grand Ole Opry spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday.
PayCheck, 64, had been bedridden in a nursing home in 2002 because of emphysema and asthma. Opry spokeswoman Jessie Schmidt confirmed PayCheck's death, but had no immediate details.
