(Tulsa-AP) -- Eight of Oklahoma native Will Rogers' movies will be seen commercially next month for the first time in more than 50 years.
The movies will be shown March 3rd through 6th during a Will Rogers film festival at Cinemark Theater in south Tulsa. The theater says the movies have been enhanced through a transfer from film to DVD.
The first movie will be ``A Connecticut Yankee,'' followed ``Steamboat 'Round the Bend,'' which is Rogers' final movie before his death in 1935 plane crash.
Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore and his birthplace ranch at Oologah.
