NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Theresa Schuknecht scored a season-high 28 points and grabbed seven rebounds, leading No. 24 Oklahoma to an 87-71 victory over Oklahoma State on Sunday.

The Sooners (14-8, 5-4 Big 12) ended their first three-game losing streak since the 1998-99 season. Oklahoma State (5-15, 1-8) lost its sixth in a row and has now lost eight straight to its instate rival.

Chelsi Welch scored 17 points, and Maria Villarroel and Dionnah Jackson had 11 each. The Sooners shot 53% and took better care of the ball than in recent games, committing 14 turnovers.

Trisha Skibbe scored 23 to lead the Cowgirls. Shelby Hutchins had 12 and Chantoya Hawkins 11.
