(Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa's mayor is saying a little more about why he wants a federal investigation of Tulsa International Airport.

Mayor Bill LaFortune addressed the Tulsa Airport Authority Thursday. He outlined concerns such as excessive landing fees, project financing and personnel issues, including alleged sexual misconduct.

LaFortune did not discuss specifics, saying he'd been advised not to. He later met with the board in an executive session.

Senator Jim Inhofe has asked for a federal review of the airport at LaFortune's request.

Lafortune says he's been assured the review will not affect federal funds the airport is receiving.
