The BB gun vandals have struck again, this time in the Admiral and Sheridan area.

More than 400 incidents of windows shot out or damaged have been reported since the November. News on Six reporter Rick Wells has been talking to business owners and says this is an enormous problem for those owners.

The financial drain is huge. Insurance if there is any often doesn't cover the entire cost of replacement glass, so the cost is coming out of business owner's pockets and that affects the bottom line.

Wednesday morning vandals hit the Blockbuster Video on East Admiral, completely shot out one window and damaged another. Not far away the Cash in a Flash store was hit too. The manager, Wade Benge, says he's just about had enough. â€œIt's aggravating every day you walk in and wonder if your glass is blown out or not. You can't afford insurance for it 'cause they'll just cancel the policy." He's tried to reduce the cost by dividing the windows into four sections, hoping to have to replace only a section rather than the entire window.

The owner of another business, Gellco Clothing and Shoes, has finally just given up. After replacing a window and a door, then have the same window and door shot out again, he's putting up plywood.
