Tulsa based QuikTrip is getting nationwide recognition. Fortune magazine ranks QT as the 41st best company to work for in the United States.

The company cites QuikTrips' low turnover, health and tuition benefits, profit sharing and bonuses as reasons for the high ranking. Steve Wedge, QuikTrip manager, "They take good care of their employees. They have good benefits. Good pay. Give people time off when you need it and they do everything they can to try to go the extra mile to keep employees happy."

QuikTrip employs more than 6,000 people in nine states. It hopes to expand to 500 stores within the next couple of years.
