If you're at a football or a basketball game, and you want a snack, you have to "make" a few concessions, like getting up and missing part of the action.

Some fans can't stomach that, so as News on Six reporter Steve Berg explains, TU's Reynolds Center has figured out a way to bring the food to "you"!

Sports fans know there's nothing better than actually being there. Unless you're at the snack bar. For many fans, that doesn't "sit" well, but what if you could order from your "seat". You can with the latest gee-whiz, gizmo. "Everybody that uses it, loves it."Dial4Snax is a system where you can use your cell phone or your personal data assistant, or your computer to order nachos, hotdogs, and pizza, whatever. And you don't even have to burn the four calories it takes to load up on all the junk food.

But never mind what kind of shape you're in, the real reason they're doing this is so that anyone can order concessions right from their seat, right from their phone, and not miss a single second of the action. Richey Kirkpatrick with Dial4Snax, "It's gonna take you five to eight minutes on an average to get you a box of popcorn and a pop, you're going to miss four to five minutes of game time."

You can place your order days, even weeks before a game, telling them exactly when and "where" to deliver it. If you're sitting somewhere different that night, you can change that. Or if you want it sent to somebody, you can change where the seating is. And then you can select the time you want it sent.

It's especially good for big groups, or say if you have a bunch of rowdy kids that you don't want to drag along to the stand. "They can order $60, $70 worth of food, and these young ladies will bring it to their seat and they don't miss any of the action of the game, and somebody doesn't have to come back with their arms full of snacks."

There's 10% surcharge for using the service. TU's Reynolds Center is one of only three places in the country that has this service. Fans can find out more about the ‘Dial-For-Snacks’ site by visiting WWW.DIAL4SNAX.COM.
