Some area Marine Reserves are answering the call to duty. Lance Corporal Chris Brooks is a Marine who's ready to serve his country.

But he's not just a Marine; he's also a father to one year old Madison and Austin who was born just two weeks ago. And even for tough guys, it's difficult leaving their loved ones behind.

Chrisâ€™ wife Stephanie Brooks, "He's going to miss his little boy growing up, for the first year, and his little girl. He'll be gone for a long time." Chris Brooks, "It's going to be sad, but the quicker I go, the quicker I'll get back."

25 more members of the Broken Arrow based Anti-Tank Training Company are getting ready to leave. Their job is to deploy a missile system aimed at tanks.

The Marines will be a support unit for Operation Enduring Freedom, and could serve up to two years.
