(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Transportation Commission has approved low bids for large projects in Oklahoma, Pontotoc, LeFlore and Tulsa counties.
In Pontotoc County, Cummins Construction Company of Enid submitted the low bid of $8.3-million for surfacing on a new alignment of Oklahoma 3-E.
In Le Flore County, the commission approved a $6.7-million bid by Koss Construction of Topeka, Kansas, for surfacing on the Poteau Bypass to Oklahoma 112.
The panel accepted a $6.5-million bid by Haskell Lemon Construction for a realignment of Oklahoma 152 from the Canadian County line to Council Road in Oklahoma City.
A $5.2-million contract was approved for Becco Contractors of Tulsa for adding two lanes and a center turn lane on US 64.
