The controversial road maintenance company VMS faces a lawsuit, from an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.

The lawsuit involves an accident last November near I-244 and 2nd Street. Trooper William Jackson says he was hit by a car that lost control because of alleged VMS negligence in applying a de-icing solution.

Jackson is still off the job because of injuries he received in the accident.

VMS denies the de-icier wasn't applied properly.
