In February, we broadcast a story about a local towing company's claim that the Department of Public Safety plays favorites in the way it dispatches tow trucks.

Abertson towing says DPS does not fairly rotate towing dispatches and favors Storey Wrecker with most of its business. We want to clarify that Storey Wrecker denies any allegation that it receives any favored treatment from DPS.

Storey also denies that the company has personal ties to DPS.
