Tulsa Police have released the name of a man who was the victim of a hit and run by his own friends.
Officers went to "Marv's Club" on North Cincinnati around 2 AM Tuesday to answer a fight call. They say a fight broke out and a group of men trying to get away from it, hopped in a car, then, ran over one of their own friends in the excitement. The buddies didn't stop, so officers chased them until they crashed about a block away.
Officers then got called back to the scene when someone started firing shots at the man who'd been run over. Police say Jamal Azimisirsarai was not hit by a bullet.
Azimisirsarai is listed in fair condition at a Tulsa hospital and police arrested several people.
