A man is in the hospital after falling into the creek behind the Wal-Mart near 81st and Riverside last night.

Paramedics say the man was walking to the store when he stumbled near the edge of the creek hitting his head on rocks on the way down.

His fiance went looking for him when he didn't return and found him down in the creek. After 30 minutes in the water - he was in the first stages of hypothermia.
