(JAMESTOWN, New York) - Lucille Ball's remains could be moved to her hometown once plans to restructure and expand a museum there are complete.

Her daughter Lucie Arnaz said Ball wanted to be buried with her mother, "Dee Dee" Evelyn Hunt. The cremated remains of both women would be moved to Jamestown, New York, about 60 miles south of Buffalo, and interred in the Lake View Cemetery with other family members.

They are currently together in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, California.

The Luci-Desi Museum had been under the control of the Chautauqua County Arts Council through a 10-year contract with the Arnaz family that expired last week.

The museum is now a not-for-profit corporation under the direction of a board that includes Arnaz, her brother Desi Arnaz and Ball's secretary for 27 years, Wanda Clark.
