Oklahoma beat Villanova 66-to-53 tonight to advance in the women's N-C-A-A tournament.
It's the third-year in the row the second-ranked Sooners have made it to the Sweet 16.
LaNeishea Caufield led Oklahoma with 30 points.
The Sooners will play Texas Tech in the regional semifinals Saturday in Boise, Idaho. O-U beat Tech twice during the regular season.
O-U improves to 29-and-3. The 29 victories is a school record.
The crowd of 11-thousand-245 tonight was the largest to watch a women's game in state of Oklahoma, surpassing the 11-thousand-200 mark set during the first-round games Saturday night.
