The first case in the Tulsa Community College grade tampering scandal has been dismissed.
Charges were dropped because of questions about a key piece of evidence. But, the suspect faces new charges. Tariq Al Taweel faces violations of the computer crimes act. Those are the first charges that tie him directly to grade tampering. Al Taweel is accused of bribing a school employee to change 52 grades.
More than 70 students have been expelled at TCC because of grade tampering.
