(LAWTON, Okla.) - Authorities are trying to identify the body of a soldier found in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge.
The body was found by a park visitor near the bottom of Mount Scott, about 150 yards from a road, said refuge manager Sam Waldstein.
Authorities said the man might have committed suicide. A gun and a box of shells with one missing were found near the body, Sheriff Kenny Stradley said.
The Comanche County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
