Tis the season for standardized testing. And the exams are ready.
Dozens of schools, Thursday, picked up their share of the 227 boxes that held nearly 10,000 tests. Next week, grades three, five, and eight will have to take the state required portion of those tests to measure what they've learned so far.
Tulsa's testing coordinator Todd Orme, says the kids and teachers are ready, but both are a little anxious. "The kids are geared up for this test, and so are the sites, so there's some excitement, and there's also probably a little bit of nerves as far as getting ready."
Testing begins next week. TPS hired a new company to supply those exams and the results due to long delays from the previous company the district had used.
