A three-alarm fire in Oklahoma City has left two people dead.

Crews were called to the St James Apartments around three-o'clock Wednesday morning. When they arrived, heavy flames engulfed three units.

Firefighters know it started in an upstairs apartment, however the cause is still under investigation. Five units were destroyed, and a half dozen others sustained heavy smoke and water damage.

The victimâ€™s names haven't been released.
