OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ University of Oklahoma junior Hollis Price has been named the Big 12 Conference player of the week after averaging 21 points in wins over Oklahoma State and Texas last week.
Price is the first Sooner to win the weekly award this season.
Price scored 17 points and had three assists in the 58-53 win over OSU and scored 25, including the game-winner, in an 85-84 overtime win over the Longhorns.
Price is averaging 18.1 points per game for the season and 19.8 in Big 12 games.
Kansas State's Pervis Pasco is the Big 12 rookie of the week.
