Tulsa International Airport saw fewer passengers through its gates last year than it has in the previous six years.

In 2001, 3.3-million passengers flew in and out of TIA. That's down more than 240,000 people compared to the year before. The major decline came immediately after September 11th.

The last time Tulsa International saw fewer passengers than it did last year was in 1995.
