PASADENA, Calif. (AP) _ James Garner says he ``wouldn't want to make any of those decisions'' that his character, Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Brankin, makes on the new CBS drama ``First Monday.''
``I have a tough enough time running my own house _ and my wife does that anyway,'' Garner told reporters.
The 73-year-old actor has starred in several TV series including ``Maverick,'' ``The Rockford Files,'' and ``Chicago Hope.''
``Episodic television, I've done it for over 40 years. I'm used to it. It doesn't really change much. You might change a little technology. ... But that's about all. The basic thing that I'm interested in is the acting and it hasn't changed a lot,'' he said.
``First Monday'' also stars Charles Durning and Joe Mantegna.
