(Skiatook-AP) -- Authorities say a 17-year-old Skiatook boy apparently drowned Thursday after in an icy creek in Osage County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Matthew Allen Glover and three friends were parked on a bluff overlooking a creek. Their vehicle began rolling and the teens couldn't stop it.

The patrol says all four escaped from the vehicle, and three swam to shore.

Glover apparently was trapped beneath the 3-inch-thick ice. The three other teens searched for Glover but could not find him in the dark.
