The holidays are over and many people are wondering how to properly get rid of their dried out Christmas tree. Why not drop it at Johnson Park at 61st and Riverside and let it be part of an annual Tulsa tradition.
Wednesday was the first official day to drop off trees at the park for the 12th Night Burning of the Greens. You can drop-off trees until January 6th at 6:30 PM. That's when thousands of trees will go up in flames.
Anyone dropping off a tree gets a free pine seedling.
