There's a word to the wise today for people who are planning to ring in the New Year. Don't drink and drive.
Eight Oklahomans died last New Year's Eve and New Years day in accidents related to drinking. Area law enforcement authorities say they will be out on the streets looking for anyone they feel has had too much.
This year the legal intoxication level is .08 instead of .10. That means it could only one drink to make some people "legally" drunk.
AAA will be providing free rides home and a tow for anyone who feels they've had too much to drink overnight. To sign up, call 1-800-AAA-HELP and ask for the Tipsy Tow program.
