(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma's defense bailed the team out again as the Sooners beat Arkansas 10-to-3 in the Cotton Bowl.

Oklahoma tied a school record in yesterday's game by racking up nine sacks. Roy Williams had two of them. Rocky Calmus made eleven tackles and recovered a fumble.

OU held Arkansas to 50 offensive yards on 55 plays. The Razorbacks had only six first downs, and two of those were by penalty.

Tim Duncan had a 32-yard field goal in the second half.
