(Dallas-AP) -- Oklahoma's defense bailed the team out again as the Sooners beat Arkansas 10-to-3 in the Cotton Bowl.
Oklahoma tied a school record in yesterday's game by racking up nine sacks. Roy Williams had two of them. Rocky Calmus made eleven tackles and recovered a fumble.
OU held Arkansas to 50 offensive yards on 55 plays. The Razorbacks had only six first downs, and two of those were by penalty.
O-U quarterback Nate Hybl scored the game's lone touchdown on a one-yard run in the first quarter. Hybl completed 24 of 32 passes for 175 yards.
Tim Duncan had a 32-yard field goal in the second half.
OU ends its season with an 11-and-2 record, Arkansas at 7-and-5.
