Good news for Cherokee County, as two companies announce they're setting up shop in Tahlequah.
A California-based motorcycle parts maker says it's moving to Tahlequah. City officials say Fast Trac Manufacturing will relocate its headquarters and production operations to Tahlequah by the summer of 2002. The company plans to employ between 250 and 300 people. Ground breaking will happen in March and operations should begin by late July.
Last week, American Woodmark Corporation also announced it would open a kitchen-cabinet plant in Tahlequah that will employ 500 people.
