The Nature Conservancy of Oklahoma is suggesting unique gift idea for the holidays, its Adopt-A-Bison program. With a $40 donation, each donor receives a personalized adoption certificate with a color photo of a representative bison from the 1,600-head bison herd.
The bison herd has grown from 300 head to 1,600 at the Tallgrass Prairie Preserve in Osage County.
