TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Tulsa defensive end Drew McLaughlin has been named second team All-Western Athletic Conference, the league announced.

McLaughlin finished his senior season with 81 tackles, including 13 stops for minus 57 yards. He also added a team-best five quarterback sacks for minus 27 yards.

Six other Tulsa players earned honorable mention all-WAC honors.

Recognized on offense were receiver Donald Shoals, tight end Jarrod Roach, tackle Kevin Shaffer and running back Eric Richardson.

Honorable mention defensive players for the Hurricane included tackle Sam Rayburn and linebacker Michael Dulaney.
