COLLINSVILLE, Okla. (AP) _ A fire at Collinsville City Hall early Saturday morning destroyed the 100-year-old building.

City hall housed the police and fire departments, as well as the city administration offices.

Mayor Michael Sermon said Saturday he was trying to find available space for the departments so city operations are not disrupted.

A preliminary investigation shows the cause of the fire was an electrical problem, the mayor said.

Fire crews sleeping in the building early Saturday were alerted to the blaze by an emergency dispatcher who detected smoke.

Fire crews from Tulsa and Owasso helped put out the fire.
