The Thanksgiving holiday gets off to a tragic start in North Tulsa. One woman is dead and two men are injured in a shooting Wednesday night.
It happened just after 9 PM, near the 2600 block of North Rockford. Tulsa Police responded to a shots fired call, and arrived at a bloody scene. Tulsa Police Sgt John Adams, "When officers arrived at the house in question we find one victim inside with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, black female about 30 years of age, and a male shot in the leg, he's been transported to the hospital.â€
Police say another man was also injured in the shooting, both men are listed in good condition. The female victim is identified at 35-year-old Denise Brown. Officers believe the two men were running from the shooter, when all three entered Brown's residence, and she was shot to death.
Police say there was a blood trail from the scene, but no suspects have been arrested.
