Tulsa Fire Department's hazardous materials unit spent Thursday afternoon checking out a powdery substance at St John Medical Center.
The haz-mat team put on special suits to sweep up the white powder and have it analyzed. A maintenance worker in an underground area of the north tower at St John found it around a delivery pallet.
The substance was in an isolated area away from the public as well as hospital employees and patients. No one was evacuated from the hospital.
No word yet on what the substance was.
