GOTEBO, Okla. (AP) _ A 12-year-old boy was killed early Saturday after the pickup truck he was driving rolled off the road and pinned him for six hours, authorities said.
Nigel Kane Lasley of Mountain View was pronounced dead at Elkview Hospital in Hobart, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said.
The boy was driving the pickup near Gotebo in Kiowa County about 6:30 a.m. when troopers say the truck ran off the left side of the road at a high rate of speed and rolled two and a half times.
Lasley was ejected from the truck and pinned for six hours.
The patrol said there was no one in the car with the boy.
