Overnight shooting sends a Tulsa man to the hospital

Tulsa Police are looking for suspects in a late night shooting. It sent one man to the hospital. Police were called the 1900 block of North Atlanta Court just before midnight Tuesday on a report of shots fired.

Investigators say two men went to the home and knocked on the door and wanted money. Tulsa Police Sgt Mark Mackenzie: â€œWhen the resident opened the door, he was met by these individuals, they were demanding money, they produced a handgun and then they fired a shot. A victim inside was struck. The suspects went inside the home, looked for cash and then ran off on foot.â€

The victim is at a Tulsa hospital. His name hasn't been released and we don't have a condition. A woman inside the home wasn't hurt.
