(Undated-AP) -- Oklahoma's Christen Secrest and Tulsa's Abby Fahrig each have won weekly soccer awards from their respective conference.

Secrest has been named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week. Secrest anchored a defense that posted consecutive home shutouts last weekend against Southwest Missouri State and Southeastern Louisiana.

OU is 6-and-1 on the season and has allowed only one goal in seven matches.

Fahrig, a freshman goalkeeper, was named the Western Athletic Conference women's soccer player of the week. She led the Golden Hurricane to three consecutive victories last week over Arkansas, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.

She finished the week with 12 saves and allowed only one goal in three games.
