Eating lunch in the cafeteria will never be the same for Mayo Demonstration School students. As of Wednesday morning, when 1st through 5th graders look up at the ceiling they'll see a picture of themselves.
Because, now, when they look up they'll see a picture of themselves. The school unveiled a huge ceiling mural Wednesday morning. A Mayo parent, who happens to be a professional artist, painted the 52-foot long mural. The mural depicts past and present students involved with school activities.
Also pictured is the school mascot, a nibbling rabbit.
