(Stillwater-AP) -- An Oklahoma State assistant baseball coach has a new job with the Cleveland Indians.
John Farrell, a former Indians pitcher, will be the club's director of player development. He has spent the past five seasons with the Cowboys as an assistant.
He helped develop 14 pitchers at O-S-U that went on to play professional baseball.
Farrell will oversee all elements of the Tribe's player development system and starts immediately.
