(Wichita Falls, Texas-AP) -- Last season, the Dallas Cowboys gave up the most yards rushing in the NFL and the most in franchise history.
Now Dallas knows what to expect from opposing offenses this season.
So the Cowboys are doing all they can to shore up their defensive front.
They've adjusted where their tackles and ends line up, plan to get more help from the safeties and are counting on their speedy linebackers to make big plays.
Coach Dave Campo realizes the emphasis on stopping the run makes Dallas vulnerable to the pass _ especially with unproven cornerbacks _ but it's a risk they have to take.
Five key players from last year's team aren't back: Tackles Leon Lett, Chad Hennings and Alonzo Spellman, and cornerbacks Ryan McNeil and Phillippi Sparks.
